mission of the Office of Animal Resources (OAR)
is to partner with the faculty and staff conducting
animal based research to provide optimum animal
health and husbandry of all research animals at
the University of Missouri - Columbia. |
| OAR
recognizes that it is its responsibility to reduce
experimental variable in animal-based research by
providing for the highest standard of comfort, well-being
and health care of all MU animals. We are committed
to provide care to the standards required by federal
regulatory and funding agencies and in accordance
with the "Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory
Animals". OAR will strive to provide a "world-class"
animal care program by providing services that are
100% accurate, 100% of the time. |
